All about creating and using clients in Mulya

Why Do I Need to Create a Client in Mulya?

Creating a client in Mulya is essential if you want to generate a “Request” (also known as an Invoice). You need to create a client and map it to the request before sharing it with them. The great thing is that client creation is a one-time process; once a client is created, you can reuse it for future requests.

Client Verification

Every client created in Mulya undergoes a verification process. This process is typically automated and completed within seconds. However, in some cases, we may need additional information from you to proceed with the verification, and we will reach out via email if that’s necessary.

Fields and Their Significance in Creating a Client

  1. Type
      • Company: Select this if the client is a business entity.
      • Individual: Choose this if the client is an individual.
  1. Name
      • For the Company type, use the official name of the company in the client name.
      • If you receive a payment from a company bank account, ensure you use the company name instead of the name of your contact person.
      • For the Individual type, use the full name of the client; avoid using only the first name.
  1. Email
      • We request the email solely for verification purposes. No email communication will be sent to this address.
  1. Address
      • According to invoicing standards in India, the invoice must include the billing address of the client. This is to ensure compliance with the RBI and other relevant organizations.
      • The client’s address will also be included in the payout advice/FIRS issued by JPMorgan (our partner bank) once the transaction is settled.
      • Make sure the address is complete and accurate; providing random or incorrect information may hinder the withdrawal process.
  1. Purpose Code and Default Description
      • These fields are used to set a default purpose code for one-click withdrawals from WhatsApp whenever you receive a payment from this client. These values can be modified for each transaction during the withdrawal process.

Depositor Name and Client Name

  • When placing a withdrawal request, we show the sender details of the client. Ensure that the depositor/sender name matches the client name selected for the withdrawal.
  • Avoid using the name of your contact person in the client name if the payment is received from a company account, as this can create discrepancies and hinder the settlement of funds.
